IndraDrive controllers feature two important parts – Power section, and Control section. The part number CSH01.1C-NN-ENS-NNN-MA1-NN-S is a control section of the CSH Indradrive Controller manufactured by Rexroth Indramat. The CSH01.1 Control Sections are the first member of the advanced group offered by Rexroth Indramat, while CSH01.2C and CSH01.3C are the other two products. As a family member of the advanced control section range, the CSH01.1C-NN-ENS-NNN-MA1-NN-S control section offers flexibility in terms of incorporating more options.
To start with, the CSH01.1C-NN-ENS-NNN-MA1-NN-S control section belongs to the advanced family and offers single axis control. The CSH01.1C control section is highly configurable and features Line 1 option to begin with. Since it’s the initial version of the advanced control sections, CSH01.1C-NN-ENS-NNN-MA1-NN-S follows design 1 which is close to the basic design. The letter “C” indicates that the control section of the IndraDrive controller offers lots of options to include add-ins. Although there are different options for master communication available in similar models, but this particular model features none as a built-in feature. On the other hand, the Rexroth Indramat Control Section features IndraDyn Hiperface Encoder with 1Vpp as option 1 (X4). Moreover, while option 2 (X8) is unavailable, the control section offers option 3 (X10) to connect an Analog I/O extension. In CSH01.1C-NN-ENS-NNN-MA1-NN-S control section by Rexroth, safety option at X41 is not available. Finally, the control section features a standard control panel which is common in almost every other advanced model.
For a control section, a firmware is needed to connect and coordinate with the connected devices, and CSH01.1C-NN-ENS-NNN-MA1-NN-S comes equipped with the factory assigned firmware. That is a cost-saving option since many other models in this family don’t have a built-in firmware.
