The unit uses an ENS encoder interface to receive incremental feedback and shows operating states on a single-line display. Because no optional control communication card is installed, fieldbus exchange must be handled by companion hardware or through the native drive link provided in the inverter rack.

The ENS port powers external encoder electronics with a typical supply of 11.6 V and can deliver up to 500 mA, allowing the controller to energize bidirectional sine-cosine sensors without an auxiliary power line. Analog processing is implemented through the MA1 module, which offers two differential input channels with a common-mode rejection ratio of 70 dB and an input resistance of 1000 kΩ, so noise from remote transducers is minimized. Each input and each of the two voltage-type outputs are converted with 12-bit resolution.
