Bosch Rexroth Indramat manufactures the CSH01.1C-NN-ENS-EN2-NNN-NN-S-XP-FW in the CSH Advanced Controllers series. The unit serves as the command section of an IndraDrive assembly, where it processes field signals and encoder feedback so connected power units can regulate motor torque and speed. In automated equipment, this controller supports deterministic I/O handling for accurate positioning, synchronized transport, and repetitive handling sequences. Its role is centered on signal processing and motion coordination rather than direct power conversion, so it works together with compatible drive power sections inside the larger system.

The analog reference channel delivers 5 V / 1 mA, which supports low-impedance speed or torque setpoints without overloading upstream controls. Twelve digital inputs operate at 24 V / 3 mA, allowing the controller to read proximity sensors or limit switches without extra interface relays. Transistor outputs are rated at 24 V / 0.5 A, which is sufficient for contactor coils or small pneumatic valves. Encoder 1 accepts differential feedback frequencies up to 500 kHz, and the channel supplies 12 V to the connected sensor. A second encoder channel supports incremental or absolute feedback devices, which allows the controller to work with an additional motion feedback source when the application requires it.

Backplane I/O power can supply 1.1 A, helping maintain stable voltage across connected sensor ports. A form-C relay contact rated at 24 VDC / 1 A is included for fault signaling or drive-enable loops. The service channel uses an RS232 interface and allows cable runs up to 15 m, which supports local serial access from outside the enclosure. This variant does not include a fieldbus interface or integrated safety functions, so those functions must be provided elsewhere in the system when they are needed.
