The servo motors, gearboxes, power units, and control units of the Rexroth IndraDrive drive system are high-quality Bosch Rexroth drive and motion control devices that ensure the scalability and optimum performance of the drive system. A class of control units in this system make up the CSH01 series. They are ADVANCED control sections used for the control of electrical motors and for monitoring their operations. The common uses of the devices include handling and mounting systems, food processing and packaging machines, printing, and paper processing machines, and machine tools.
The CSH01.1C-NN-ENS-EN2-MD1-S1-S-NN-FW is one of the control sections in the ADVANCED control section range by Bosch Rexroth. It is a configurable model with features that make it ideal for operations requiring high performance and dynamics. These include a standard encoder evaluation interface that is suited for encoder systems with a supply voltage of 12V. Some of these encoders are the encoders of MSK (IndraDyn S motors), the sin-cos encoder (1 Vpp) with EnDat 2.1, and the 5V-TTL square-wave encoder with a reference track. It also has an encoder interface for the connection of encoders with a supply voltage of 5V.
There is a Digital I/O extension on the CSH01.1C-NN-ENS-EN2-MD1-S1-S-NN-FW, and it provides 12 digital 24 V inputs and 8 digital 24 V outputs for the control section. There is also a Safety Technology I/O option on it which supports application-related safety functions like a safety-related standstill and safety-related drive interlock.
