Designed for compact drive assemblies, the unit supervises one motor axis, processes machine signals, and exchanges position data with higher-level systems. In an automation cell, it forms the link between a drive inverter and field devices by executing trajectory commands, scaling feedback, and issuing binary switching outputs needed for synchronized manufacturing sequences.

The controller offers an analog input with an impedance of 160 kΩ, which minimizes the load on external sensors connected to its ±10 V channel. Its analog output delivers 5 V, 1 mA, making it suitable for reference generation toward external amplifiers or tachometers. For discrete actuators, each transistor stage can switch up to 24 V, 0.5 A, allowing direct control of solenoid valves or contactors. The internal probe captures edge transitions with an accuracy of 1 µs and guarantees a minimum pulse recognition width of 4 µs, which supports high-speed positioning triggers.
