The CSH01.1C-NN-EN2-MA1-MD1-NN-S-NN-FW is part of the Bosch Rexroth Indramat CSH Advanced Controllers series. This single-axis control card plugs into IndraDrive power sections and provides the real-time link between motion commands and connected field devices in modular automation cells. In machine operation, it processes position feedback, analog process values, and discrete signals so that servo drives can follow programmed trajectories while I/O states remain coordinated with upstream PLC logic. Its role is to centralize signal handling on the control level rather than require separate interface hardware for every feedback and switching task.

The EN2 encoder option supports the optical and magnetic feedback format EnDat 2.1. With sensing conductors active, feedback cabling can extend to 75 m, while installations without sense lines are limited to 50 m. The interface excites the encoder with 5.0 V DC and can source up to 350 mA, while differential receiver channels interpret a sinusoidal track delivered at 1.0 Vpp. The MA1 analog block adds two differential inputs and two outputs, and incoming process signals pass through a 1 kHz anti-alias filter before conversion at 12 bit resolution for temperature, pressure, or position transducers.

On the analog side, the MA1 output channels drive actuators or reference devices to ±10 V, and each channel can source up to 10 mA. The MD1 module provides 12 opto-isolated digital inputs that draw 3 mA each, which supports dependable state detection from proximity sensors or limit switches. Control commands are issued through 8 transistor digital outputs, and each channel can sink or source loads up to 0.5 A for relay coils or pneumatic valve solenoids. This channel mix allows the controller to handle both motion-related feedback and machine-level switching signals on the same board.
