Bosch Rexroth Indramat produces the CSH01.1C-NN-EN2-EN2-NNN-NN-S-NN-FW as a module in the CSH Advanced Controllers series. Designed for centralized machine control, the unit orchestrates motion, logic, and feedback tasks on a single drive section in industrial automation cells. This arrangement supports compact control architecture where one controller manages an individual axis while still handling local signal processing and operator interaction. It is suited to machines where motion control, local signal handling, and feedback evaluation need to remain in one controller instead of being divided across separate modules.

Its single-axis configuration means the internal processor and power stage supervise only one motor channel, simplifying setup when a machine station needs a single coordinated movement. Field connectivity is handled through integrated analog I/O, allowing direct ±10 V or current-loop signals to enter the control loop without external converters, while integrated digital I/O supplies on/off lines for limit switches and actuator coils. The local I/O mix lets the controller handle basic machine interlocks and command signals without requiring separate interface hardware for simple station layouts. A built-in relay output can switch auxiliary circuits such as motor contactors. Interaction with service software is possible through the RS232 interface, and operators can execute diagnostics locally via the standard operator panel mounted on the controller face. Because the controller does not include a dedicated control communication option, network links must be realized through higher-level drive buses rather than an internal fieldbus plug-in.

Position feedback support is provided by two identical sensor channels; each accepts EnDat 2.1 signals that carry incremental tracks at 1 Vpp and commutation information at 5 V TTL. This twin input arrangement permits redundant or tandem feedback from linear and rotary sources, and it can also support applications that combine motor feedback with an external measuring system. Application parameters can be stored on a MultiMediaCard inserted into the front slot for local data retention. The device includes no safety technology, so risk mitigation must be handled by external safety relays or drives. An additional Option 3 slot is present but not equipped, leaving space for later expansion through fieldbus or I/O modules.
