The CSH01.1C-NN-EN1-NNN-NNN-S2-S-NN-FW is a control section from Bosch Rexroth Indramat's CSH Advanced Controllers series. Intended for IndraDrive power modules, the unit supplies closed-loop motion logic that positions axes, manages encoder data, and executes drive functions across a wide range of industrial machines. By inserting this board into a compatible drive stack, the system can automate transport, cutting, or packaging lines while maintaining the deterministic servo performance required for modern production.

In operation, the module provides two configurable analog outputs, each limited to 1 mA and referenced to a nominal level of 5 V, enabling speed or torque commands to external hardware. The board does not carry an optional fieldbus card, so it is not equipped for fieldbus communication; local interaction is handled through a standard control panel backed by a single-line display for parameter access. Feedback from connected motors is accepted through the resolver and HSF encoder interface, which is energized by an 8 V supply generated on the board. It supports Bosch Rexroth's MKD/MKE/MHD motors family and exchanges service data through a dedicated RS232 serial interface on an 8-pin Mini-DIN connector that supports cable runs up to 15 m without repeaters.

The integrated Safe Motion package is accessed through a D-Sub 9-pin female safety connector. Input monitoring accepts logic signals rated at 24 V / 3 mA, while the dual-channel semiconductor outputs can drive interlock circuits up to 24 V / 0.5 A. For higher current requirements, an onboard relay provides dry-contact switching up to DC 24 V / 1 A. This arrangement allows direct connection to light curtains, door switches, and emergency stop circuits while keeping safety functions local and reducing response time during hazardous motion.
