The Bosch CSH01.1C-NN-EN1-EN2-MD1-NN-S-NN-FW is a digital control section. It plugs into a power section. The combination of a power section and control section forms a IndraDrive drive controller that is typically used for handling and mounting systems, packaging and food machines and machine tools. Master communication interface is not available on the CSH01.1C-NN-EN1-EN2-MD1-NN-S-NN-FW. The master communication interfaces that can be ordered for CSH01.1 units include Profibus, parallel interface, SERCOS, CANopen and multi-Ethernet. The CSH01.1C-NN-EN1-EN2-MD1-NN-S-NN-FW units features three plug-in modules: encoder HSF / RSF (EN1), encoder with EnDat 2.1 interface (EN2) and digital I/O extensions (MD1). The power consumption of the EN1 module is 6 Watts, the power consumption of the EN2 module is 6 Watts and the power consumption of the MD1 module is 1 Watt. The CSH01.1C-NN-EN1-EN2-MD1-NN-S-NN-FW and the optional modules draw power from the power section.
The input voltage required by the CSH01.1C-NN-EN1-EN2-MD1-NN-S-NN-FW is 24 Volts DC and the power drawn by the unit is 7.5 Watts. The control section mounts vertically and measures 241 x 49 x 103 millimeters. A slot for a safety module is also available and can be used for safety options including safe torque off, safe motion and starting lockout. The CSH01.1C-NN-EN1-EN2-MD1-NN-S-NN-FW can be configured from an optional control panel or the PC-based software IndraWorks. An RS-232 serial port on the front panel of the control section can be used for communicating with the programming PC or with VT100 terminals. The slots for the safety module, optional modules and a memory card are also located on the front panel of the CSH01.1C-NN-EN1-EN2-MD1-NN-S-NN-FW. The plugging/unplugging of the device from the power section should only be carried out by trained personnel.
