The CSH01.1C-ET-ENS-EN1-MA1-S2-S-NN-FW motion and logic controller is built by Bosch Rexroth Indramat as part of the CSH Advanced Controllers series. Installed on the front of an IndraDrive power section, it provides the command layer for multi-axis positioning, velocity control, fieldbus routing, and the drive-integrated Safe Motion package used in automated production lines. Its card-style housing inserts directly into the modular rack, delivering centralized processing without requiring additional rack space.

The I/O section includes 2 differential analog inputs that can monitor process sensors. Both the A/D and D/A converters operate at 12-bit resolution, and they share a common span of ±10 V for straightforward scaling of feedback and command signals. Two additional analog outputs can transmit drive status or reference values to neighboring devices. Network connectivity is provided by 2 RJ-45 sockets that use the 100Base-TX Ethernet layer, and the controller supports Sercos III, EtherCAT, EtherNet/IP, and PROFINET for real-time plant networks. Encoder supply rails deliver 12 V on X4 and 8 VDC / 18.2 VACpp on X8 so absolute or incremental feedback devices receive stable power directly from the card.

Two dedicated feedback connectors allow selection of IndraDyn / HIPERFACE / 1 Vpp / TTL formats on X4 and HSF / Resolver formats on X8, enabling precise position capture for rotary or linear axes. The board occupies only 241 x 103 x 49.5 mm, which leaves room for cooling airflow inside a drive cabinet. Safe Motion functions are certified to SIL2 / Cat. 3 PL d, permitting speed-limited, safe-stop, and safe-direction modes without external relays. Fieldbus routing, encoder conditioning, and analog conversion are consolidated on a single controller, which minimizes wiring while keeping response times deterministic.
