The CSH01.1C-ET-EN2-NNN-MEM-NN-S-NN-FW is a motion-logic controller module from Bosch Rexroth Indramat's CSH Advanced Controllers series. It fits into IndraDrive power sections and coordinates drive functions, fieldbus communication, and local I/O for automated assembly lines, packaging systems, and material-handling cells. By combining axis control, feedback evaluation, and network supervision in one plug-in unit, the card reduces cabinet wiring and streamlines integration in industrial automation. This layout also lets the drive platform handle machine-side signaling and network exchange from the same control point.

With an analog input span of ±10 V, the controller accepts speed, torque, or position references from external process instrumentation. It provides 2 analog outputs for drive status or scaled feedback signals, while four configurable I/O points supplement 7 dedicated digital inputs used for machine interlocks and command states. Valves and relays are actuated by a digital output stage rated at 24 V / 0.5 A, giving the module direct control over common switching devices. During power-up, the module draws a typical inrush current of 4 A and then communicates with higher-level PLCs over PROFINET IO. High-speed inputs can capture short edge events with a maximum pulse width of 100 ms.

Continuous operation requires only 7.5 W of base power, which helps limit heat inside the drive stack during normal use. When encoderless positioning must be emulated, the card delivers absolute or incremental signals through a line driver that supports cable lengths up to 40 m and frequencies up to 1 MHz. The emulation connector shares the front panel with a D-Sub 15 socket for feedback devices, and that interface accepts EnDat 2.1, 1 Vpp, or TTL formats while supplying up to 350 mA at a sensed 5.0 V reference. These interfaces allow local feedback processing while deterministic data is exchanged with the plant network.
