Bosch Rexroth Indramat manufactures the CSH01.1C-ET-EN2-ENS-MD1-S2-S-NN-FW as part of the CSH Advanced Controllers series. This controller plugs into IndraDrive power sections and coordinates torque, velocity, and position loops for electric servomotors used in automated machinery. By combining motion logic, field communication, and encoder evaluation on one card, it reduces cabinet space and wiring in single-station or modular production lines. It is suited for packaging, handling, and assembly equipment that requires coordinated motor control in a compact drive platform.

The unit is configured for a single-axis drive, allowing one motor channel to be regulated apart from auxiliary axes. Base logic consumption is only 7.5 W, which simplifies sizing of the control power supply. Field connectivity is handled through Multi-Ethernet, enabling access over PROFINET, EtherNet/IP, SERCOS III, and EtherCAT without hardware changes. The MD1 module provides 12 × 24 V digital inputs for sensor states and 8 × 24 V digital outputs for actuator commands. The built-in safety layer complies with Safe Motion, letting the drive execute STO, SS1, and stop functions within the drive rather than through external relays. A plug-on digital I/O extension can be added when extra points are required.

The controller forwards position data through several channels. The primary encoder socket accepts EnDat 2.1 / 1 Vpp / 5 V TTL, while the secondary port supports IndraDyn / HIPERFACE / EnDat 2.1 / 5 V TTL transmitters, allowing mixed-sensor architectures on the same machine. The En2 rail supplies 5 V at 350 mA, and the Ens rail delivers 12 V at 500 mA, powering both TTL and SIN/COS encoders. Diagnostics can be accessed through the RS232 serial interface, and a standard operator panel with a single-line display shows drive status locally. The local display supports quick status checks without requiring a separate external interface.
