For reliable motion control applications, the Bosch Rexroth Indramat CSH01.1C-CO-ENS-NNN-NNN-S1-S-NN-FW is an outstanding control module of the CSH Advanced Controllers family.
Similar to the CO connection/interface that facilitates EtherCAT communication, which is quick and effective in sharing data with other automation components, this control section type is called CSH. Both EnDAT 2.1/2.2 and HIPERFACE DSL are supported by the bundled ENS encoder interface, giving the programmer the option to select encoder feedback (for accurate speed as well as position control). Safety, the S1 safety option is implemented in this unit with Safe Torque Off (STO) and Safe Stop 1 (SS1) functions, and implemented in a single safety configuration labeled as S. Firmware is not installed in this unit, indicated as FW, and should be selected and ordered separately to suit a specific application. The unit is fully compatible with the Rexroth IndraDrive drive series and features a 24 V DC output. It has a panel mounting with operating temperatures of 0°C to 40°C (depending upon installation position and system loading).
The CSH controller can drive an encoder at the maximum frequency of 400 kHz using its EnDAT/DSL interface and has an integrated non Volatile memory that provides secure storage of parameters. Diagnostic data is well displayed using multi-color LEDs that show the system status and faults. Thermal management is performed by convection with the airflow of the drive system which is silent and maintenance free.
