The CSH01.1C-CO-ENS-EN2-NNN-NN-S-XP-FW control section is produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat as part of the CSH Advanced Controllers series. It attaches to an IndraDrive power module to create a modular drive controller for industrial automation. The unit supervises one mechanical axis, processes feedback from encoders, and exchanges motion commands with higher-level PLCs to provide closed-loop regulation for tasks such as pick-and-place, feeders, and light machining. That arrangement keeps motion control, feedback handling, and network communication in one compact section. With its integrated fieldbus and local I/O, the device reduces cabinet wiring and supports distributed machine architectures.

This control section supports the single-axis topology and runs on a field-supplied 24 V DC logic supply. Local sensing is handled through one analog input, two analog outputs, and 7 discrete inputs, while four configurable digital channels can be assigned as inputs or outputs; a single relay output provides galvanically isolated signaling. Motion and process data are exchanged on the CANopen / DeviceNet master interface, and parameter access is available through the standard operating panel mounted on the front. The first feedback port accepts IndraDyn / Hiperface / 1 Vpp / TTL signals, allowing direct connection of synchronous-motor encoders. Option slot 3 is left unpopulated for applications that do not require extra functions.

A second feedback socket is provided for EnDat 2.1 / 1 Vpp / TTL transducers, enabling dual-encoder configurations for high-accuracy positioning. For point-to-point diagnostics, the module includes a RS232 serial link. Two touch-probe inputs capture edge events within one controller cycle so registration marks or inspection triggers can be detected without delayed response. The PWM generator can be set to 4/8/12/16 kHz, allowing switching behavior to be matched to acoustic requirements. The unit is delivered without safety technology, so any required safety functions must be provided by external devices.
