Bosch Rexroth’s CSH control sections support a wide and diverse range of control communication and encoder interfaces. They are components of the drive controllers in the IndraDrive system, plugged into the power sections. Their applications include handling and mounting equipment and machine tools.

The CSH01.2C-NN-EN2-MEM-CCD-L1-S-NN-FW is a CSH control section model whose connection points are equipped with spring terminals and screw terminal blocks. This ensures secure connections and enhances operator safety. It is designed with starting lockout, a safety feature that prevents the system from starting up under potentially harmful conditions. The safety module complies with stop category 0, according to EN 60204-1. Another module in the CSH control section is its encoder evaluation interface of the D-sub type with 15 poles. It supports a wide range of encoder types with a supply voltage of 5V. These include the sin-cos encoder (1 Vpp) with reference track, the sin-cos encoder (1 Vpp) with the EnDat 2.1 interface and sense lines, and the 5V-TTL square-wave encoder with reference track.

Absolute value and incremental encoder signals are evaluated via the encoder emulation interface of the CSH01.2C-NN-EN2-MEM-CCD-L1-S-NN-FW. These signals are galvanically isolated from the circuit, and the process does not require external power supply. The standard control panel of the CSH control section displays the system’s operating states, command and error diagnoses and pending warnings. It has four operating keys used to trigger simple commands and perform various functions. They include starting the basic load defaults procedure, establishing the position data reference, accessing the error memory, and setting the drive address. Firmware use is allowed with this CSH model, but it should be ordered separately.
