The Bosch CSH01.1C-SE-EN1-EN2-NNN-NN-S-XP-FW is a digital control unit. Along with a power section it forms an IndraDrive motor controller. Firmware for the control unit is ordered as a separate subposition. Bosch provides two types of control panels for HCS control units: standard and comfort. The control unit is compatible with a standard control panel. This type of control panel does not support hot plug and must be connected to the control unit before the latter is switched on. Operators must not connect or disconnect the control panel while the control unit is switched on. A single-line display on the control panel shows operating states, command and error diagnoses and pending warnings. With the four keys on the control panel, operators can communicate with the commissioning tool or NC control unit, and have extended diagnoses displayed at the drive controller and trigger simple commands.

Through the control panel, operators can set the analog outputs, set drive address, set SERCOS transmission power and set SERCOS transmission rate. The CSH01.1C-SE-EN1-EN2-NNN-NN-S-XP-FW control unit features SERCOS communication. It is a configurable unit with an integrated RS-232 serial interface. In addition, the control unit is equipped with an encoder HSF/RSF module that supports resolver and HSF encode evaluation, and an encoder module with EnDat 2.1 interface. Applications for drive controllers based on CSH control units include machine tools, printing machines and food machines. Dimensions of the control unit are 241 x 49.5 x 103 millimeters. It is designed for vertical mounting and cools via natural convection. The unit mounts on a power section. Only trained personnel should mount and unmount the control section. Operators must not assemble or disassemble the control unit more than 20 times.
