The CSB02.1B-ET-EC-NN-L3-NN-NN-FW is a Bosch control section. It is developed for IndraDrive controllers. Bosch develops different types of control sections include economy, basic and advanced. These types differ with regard to configurability, interfaces and cycle times. The CSB02.1B-ET-EC-NN-L3-NN-NN-FW is a basic control section with extended-scope interfaces. It is suited to applications that require single-axis control. It is usually supplied as part of a fully configured drive controller. In special circumstances the control section - and the power section on which it mounts - are supplied separately. In such cases a trained professional is required to perform manual mounting of the CSB02.1B-ET-EC-NN-L3-NN-NN-FW onto a compatible power section. To protect equipment, Bosch has limited the number of times that a particular control section can be mounted or dismounted to 20.

The architecture of the CSB02.1B-ET-EC-NN-L3-NN-NN-FW control section is modular: three optional slots are available for optional plug-in modules. The CSB02.1B-ET-EC-NN-L3-NN-NN-FW comes with integrated multi-Ethernet communication and one multi-encoder interface.
