The CSB01.1-PB-ENS-NNN-NN-S-NN-FW is a control section used inside Bosch Rexroth Indramat drive assemblies and belongs to the CSB Drive Controllers series. Installed on an IndraDrive power stage, this section supplies the logic needed to regulate an AC servo axis in automated machinery. By coordinating feedback, motion commands, and fieldbus data, the unit serves as the command layer that converts velocity and position requests into precise drive signals for motors in packaging, printing, and material-handling lines. Its role is to manage the control functions of the axis while the connected power stage supplies the required motor current and voltage.

Hardware resources on the board are dedicated to a single-axis configuration, so all processing capacity is focused on one motor channel. Field-level coordination is handled through a PROFIBUS interface that exchanges cyclic setpoints and diagnostic telegrams with the PLC. Local machine states can be wired through eight digital inputs and outputs, while a form-C relay output supplies an isolated contact for alarms or drive-ready signals. The control section mounts only on IndraDrive C and M power units, keeping the control electronics matched to the intended drive platform. Differential analog feedback is supported with a 1 Vpp sinusoidal track, and a separate 5 V TTL track can be selected when digital incremental encoders are present. A local service connection is available through an RS232 serial port for setup and trace capture without occupying the fieldbus channel. This lets networked motion traffic remain separate from local diagnostic access during operation.
