Product Description:
The CSB01.1C-ET-ENS-NNN-NN-S-NN-FW is a compact drive controller section manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the CSB Drive Controllers series. It forms the control core of a motor inverter, taking setpoint data, monitoring feedback, and issuing gate commands so a single servo axis can be synchronized with the wider machine sequence in automated packaging, material handling, or machining lines. Serial servicing is handled through the RS232 port, giving direct access for diagnostics and parameter access when a network connection is not used.
Its hardware layout is tailored for single-axis operation, meaning one power section is directed by this control section. Network traffic is carried through the Multi-Ethernet interface, so the unit can join EtherNet/IP, PROFINET, or EtherCAT topologies without extra cards. Integrated digital I/O channels and an onboard relay output let the controller accept limit switch signals and control external contactors locally. Feedback ports support the IndraDyn and Hiperface encoder protocols. They process differential analog and digital signal levels of 1 Vpp and 5 V TTL respectively, allowing the controller to read high-resolution sine-cosine signals or discrete marker pulses. When additional conditioning is needed, one expansion slot accepts encoder extension, analog I/O, or emulation modules, while the base model is supplied without an optional module.
A single expansion slot is accompanied by a MultiMediaCard socket for parameters and machine data. Daily operation is handled through the standard operator panel. Configuration is handled with IndraWorks, which provides parameter editors and oscilloscope tools over Ethernet or the serial connection. The controller's integrated digital I/O and expansion capability keep the footprint small while still supporting encoder emulation or analog scaling when an auxiliary card is installed.
