Product Description:
The DLC01.1 is a motion and logic controller module produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat within the CML IndraControl Hardware series. It supervises single-axis positioning tasks, exchanging setpoints and feedback with drives to automate material handling, packaging, and assembly equipment on compact factory lines. Its control role also lets one module coordinate motion commands and discrete machine signals in the same cabinet.
Internally the DLC01.1 uses CPU design variant 1 to supervise a single motion channel; the hardware therefore handles 1 axis of interpolation. The enclosure measures 160 x 120 x 20 mm, so it fits on narrow DIN rails inside a cabinet. Digital I/O resources are divided into 8 fixed inputs, 5 fixed outputs, 7 free inputs, and 11 free outputs; these points connect directly to sensors and actuators without expansion cards. Two serial links are present: an RS-232C port for programming and diagnostics and an RS-485 bus for field devices. The RS-232 connection to an IDS terminal may be routed up to 20 m, while a PC-to-controller cable is limited to 15 m. Position commands can be issued in chain or absolute mode, and the controller accepts metric, imperial, or angular units such as mm, inch, or degree. Velocity overrides are entered as a per mille value of Vmax, allowing proportional speed presets without recalculating absolute rates.
For high-resolution feedback, the encoder input samples signals at 1 MHz, so pulse trains from fine-pitch linear scales are accepted without loss. When the DLC01.1 operates as the master on the RS-485 network, it can address up to 32 stations, letting one controller distribute motion commands to multiple drives. Application code is stored in non-volatile memory with room for 3000 blocks, and each routine can contain up to 127 nested subprogram levels.
