The CML40.1-SP-220-NA-NNNN-NW is a modular and scalable control unit. The device uses terminal technology to combine the benefits of a standardized input/output system and an embedded PC. The device is an ideal platform for PLC applications and motion control operations. The device can be used with the Sercos interface. In terms of onboard interfaces, the device comes with 8 inputs and 8 outputs that operate at very high speed. Other communication interfaces like Sercos, RS232, and Profibus are also provided in this system. The control module comes with four operator keys and an eight-digit display. A receptable is provided on the left side of the device for a compact flash card. A reset button with a light emitting diode is also present. On the central section of the unit Profibus DP, Sercos, Ethernet, and ready contact interfaces are provided.
The CML40.1-SP-220-NA-NNNN-NW can be extended by using additional technology and Fieldbus interfaces. These interfaces include the master axis encoder and DeviceNet interfaces. The Rexroth Inline I/O system can extend the locally available I/O units. This can be done by just mounting the components beside each other. An easily accessible compact flash medium stores the inclusive runtime and application programs. The device should be used in areas where the surrounding air is at a temperature of 5 ᵒc to 55 ᵒC. The optionally available blower can be used if the device is working at a higher load. For device storage, a temperature range of -25 ᵒC to 70 ᵒC is suitable. The device can function without condensation in areas that have a relative humidity level from 5 % to 95 %. This control unit can be shipped globally with a one-year warranty period from Wake Industrial.
