The CML25.1 is high quality control unit that is used for PLC applications and motion control in industrial machinery. The device has a module based structure so it can be tailored for industry specific applications by using an appropriate plug in module. The device is completely scalable and is based on terminal technology. It comes with a standard I/O system. The device has been designed with compact dimensions so it can be installed in areas with limited installation space. Various communication interfaces are supported by this universal hardware platform. These interfaces include the Ethernet IP, Sercos III, and Ethernet interfaces. Up to two functional modules can be used with this control module. When using these functional modules, the operations of this device are significantly extended. The device is also extended by the use of an integrated PCI bus.
The CML25.1 also utilized additional Fieldbus technology components. Through the Rexroth Inline I/O system, the local I/O units of the device can be extended. The components need to be placed side by side for this purpose. The device can sustain vibrations in the range of 10 to 150 Hz. It can also sustain an acceleration of 1g. During storage and transportation, the control module can resist a maximum shock of 15 g. For extracting maximum performance, the device should not be used in areas that have a temperature higher than 55 ᵒC and lower than 5 ᵒC. The CML25.1 is supported by the Renesas SH 7785 processor. It has a minimum of 128 MB RAM with a 256 KB RDS. This control unit can be shipped globally with a one-year warranty period from Wake Industrial.
