The CML25.1 is an industrial controller module manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat as part of the CML IndraControl Hardware series. Installed on DIN-rail backplanes, it operates as the central processing resource in programmable logic controller architectures, orchestrating motion axes, fieldbus networks, and safety circuits. The unit links machine-level signals with supervisory execution layers, supplying deterministic task management needed for packaging lines, material handling systems, and other automated industrial equipment.
The processing core is a Renesas SH 7785 running at a clock frequency of 576 MHz, providing adequate instruction throughput for synchronized motion control and fast interrupt handling. A base memory of 128 MB supports program code, buffering, and diagnostic data without external expansion. The controller is supplied in an Inline housing that allows adjacent stacking with other IndraControl modules so internal buses remain at minimal trace length. The controller uses CPU design 1, which has a single-package implementation that minimizes latency between the processor, memory, and peripheral controllers.
