The CML20.1-NP-16D is a smart motion control device that is also used for PLC applications. The device is used for the combined benefits of a standard I/O system combined with a compact modular control unit. This module based control unit can be expanded by the use of additional modules. These include printing machines, woodworking machines, paper manufacturing & paper printing machines, food processing machines, and material packaging machines. This device is supported by the STMicroelectronics ST40 processor that operates on a 192 MHz frequency. This enables this device to operate with a significantly fast paced processing speed. The main memory consists of NvRAM and DRAM. The NvRAM is 64 KB while the DRAM is at least 16 MB.
The CML20.1-NP-120-NA has been equipped with 8 inputs and 8 outputs each. Each input and output is electrically isolated. A 24V DC connection is required for operating the control module. The device is best used in areas that have relative humidity levels between 2.5 % and 95 %. A temperature range between 5 ᵒC to 55 ᵒC is suitable for this device.
