The CML20.1-NP-120-NA is a modular control unit produced by the company. The device is used for advanced PLC applications and motion control applications. When using this device, the advantages of a standardized I/O system with a compact control technology are combined together. This device is often used in machine tools, printing machines, paper processing machines, foodstuff machines, material packaging equipment. The device is capable of processing data and inputs at a very fast pace because of its fast processor. This model comes with the STMicrelecetronics ST40 processor that has a frequency of at least 192 MHz. The main memory consists of 16 MB DRAM and at least 64 KB NvRAM. The control module comes with Interface to I/O modules as well as communication interfaces. These include the Profibus DP master slave interface, a single RS232 interface, and Rexroth Inline interface.
The CML20.1-NP-120-NA also comes with 8 electrically isolated digital inputs and 8 electrically isolated outputs. The device needs a 24 VDC supply for operation. It can operate seamlessly in areas that have ambient air at temperatures between 5 ᵒC to 55 ᵒC. The control module can operate without condensing in areas that have relative humidity levels between 2.5% and 95%.
