The CLM20.1-NP-120-NA-NNNN-NW is an Indramat position control module manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the CLM Axis Positioning Control Modules series. It generates motion profiles, evaluates feedback, and distributes command signals to connected drive amplifiers so that mechanical axes follow programmed paths without relying on a separate PLC. Embedded software stores application code and parameters, allowing the unit to manage axis sequencing and motion behavior within the control platform. This arrangement supports machines that need coordinated positioning, repeatable travel, and direct interaction between the controller and the drive system.
Inside the controller, a SH4-compatible 32-bit processor executes interpolation loops for up to 2 axes in real time. It is supported by 16 MB of dynamic RAM for the operating system, user programs, and data buffers during high-speed path generation.
