The CLM01.4-N-N-2-N-FW is an Indramat position control module produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the CLM Axis Positioning Control Modules series. It supervises coordinated motion and sends velocity and position commands to connected drives in automated machinery. The unit belongs to design line 01, and its design version 4 electronics support positioning tasks in material handling, packaging, and general assembly systems. It is intended for applications that need synchronized indexing, transfer, and stop positioning within a compact control architecture.

This controller powers its logic from a 24 VDC supply and draws only 450 mA, which helps keep control cabinet demand low. A built-in 2-axis motion architecture provides the base channel count, while sixteen discrete inputs work alongside 16 auxiliary outputs and 16 auxiliary inputs for event handling, interlocks, and sequence confirmation. This arrangement lets the module read sensors and switch states while coordinating external actuators from the same control stage. Position feedback can come from incremental or absolute encoders, and a dedicated measuring-wheel channel accepts incremental encoder signals for length-based tracking. The module uses natural convection cooling, so no forced-air components are required. A four-line, sixteen-character status display shows alarms, axis positions, and parameter data on the front panel.

The compact cabinet footprint measures 325 mm in depth, 390 mm in height, and 105 mm in width, which helps with row mounting in control enclosures. With a mass of 6 kg, the module remains manageable during panel installation. Protection is rated IP10, so live parts must be enclosed in a closed cabinet. The standard version does not include an onboard fieldbus or expansion cards, and the base unit is intended for fixed motion-control applications.
