The CLM01.4-N-E-2-B-FW is an axis positioning control module manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the CLM Axis Positioning Control Modules series. Classified as an Indramat Position Control unit, it supervises multi-axis drives in automated machinery, translating programmed motion sequences into precise command signals for each connected drive. Within a control cabinet, the module functions as the supervisory layer between the CNC or PLC and the power electronics, making deterministic position loops possible without burdening the higher-level controller. This arrangement lets the controller manage coordinated motion tasks while the connected drives handle current and power conversion.

Standard 2-axis hardware is provided, so the module can close position loops on 2 axes without additional daughterboards. All low-power electronics are supplied from a regulated 24 VDC rail, while the logic portion draws a steady 450 mA of control current. Field wiring is extensive: there are 88 auxiliary inputs and 51 auxiliary outputs for status, limits, or sensor signals, supplemented by 24 predefined inputs and 18 predefined outputs reserved for fixed drive-related functions.
