Designed for closed-loop motion tasks, the unit interprets position commands and issues drive-level signals so that an attached servo axis achieves repeatable placement in packaging, printing, or material-handling cells. By combining program memory, I/O processing, and an operator interface in one housing, it reduces panel space and supports coordinated axis control from a compact cabinet installation.

Its electronics operate from a control supply of 24 VDC, a low-energy level that allows shared power buses with sensors and safety relays. Heat generated by the processor and output drivers is removed through passive convection cooling; no fans are required. Physical depth of 325 mm affects cabinet setback and the clearance needed for rear wiring. Front access is protected to IP10, which helps prevent accidental finger contact with live terminals.
