The CLM01.3-X-0-2-B-FW module is an axis positioning controller built by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the CLM Axis Positioning Control Modules series. As an Indramat position control unit, it supervises coordinated motion on machinery by generating reference values for servo drives and evaluating encoder feedback to achieve accurate feed lengths and cut-to-length operations. A compact enclosure carries the controller, a backlit operator interface, and the required low-voltage electronics so it can be installed directly in the electrical cabinet alongside other control hardware.

The control section handles up to 2 axes through its standard two-axis configuration and delivers regulation signals at 24 VDC. For each encoder channel, it furnishes a drive current of 200 mA per encoder, supporting incremental measuring wheels as well as one position encoder per axis. Feed commands are issued in 0.01-millimeter steps, giving a resolution of 0.01 mm for repeatable length control. A four-line LCD with background illumination shows setpoints, diagnostics, and process values, while a membrane keypad with 20 keys allows parameter entry without external tools. Local operation is supported through the integrated display and keypad, so routine adjustments can be entered from the cabinet front without additional interface hardware or an external programming device.

The housing is protected to IP10 and measures 390 mm in height, 325 mm in depth, and 105 mm in width, so panel layouts can reserve a narrow vertical slot for mounting. Total mass is 6 kg, permitting installation on standard DIN rails or plate brackets without additional reinforcement. The controller maintains full functional accuracy up to 1000 m operating altitude, and each axis uses incremental feedback through a single encoder channel for position monitoring. The integrated display backlight supports clear status viewing during operation, and the fixed hardware layout keeps the cabinet arrangement straightforward in compact control panels.
