Product Description:
The CLM01.3-M-0-1-0 positioning control from Bosch Rexroth offers precision motion control in one or two axes. The product is used along with the manufacturer’s TVM servo power supply, TDM servo amplifier and MAC servomotor. It has 32 outputs, 32 inputs, a serial communication port and two encoder ports. The keypad can be used to enter the system program and parameters. The module is widely used in flying-cutoff applications where the material is continuously fed into a cutoff carriage. It has a four-line display and one flying shear and standard I/O axis. The positioning control is backed up by a warranty for one year.
The product offers closed-loop synchronized positioning and it features a modular design. It is responsible for activating the motor that drives the tool slide or carriage as well as accelerating the motor so that it has the same speed of the material that is under process. The module also triggers the cutoff action to begin when the synchronized movement is achieved. This device can operate in three modes supported by the LM software. These are the Manual, Test and Automatic modes. The parameter data helps the positioning control to adapt to the machines and their mechanical characteristics. The unit must be installed within a height of 1,000m above sea level.
The device has a control voltage rating of 24VDC and a current rating of 200mA +20%. The upper section of the front panel comprises the keypad/display while the lower section features the X5 and X7 connectors along with other components. The keypad features a key for moving the cursor, entering programs and data, clearing fault/error messages, cursor movement and more. The green LED Ready indicator on the lower front panel lights up when the unit is powered without any system error and is ready for operation.
