Bosch Rexroth is a trendsetter in the area of motion control. The company manufactures servo motors, DC motors, variable frequency drives, servo amplifiers, and other automation equipment.
The CLM01.3-LB1-01VRS-MS is an efficient control module used for highly precise speed and position control in thermoforming machines, woodworking machines, metal machining equipment, handling machines, and robotics, automatic bending machines, and linear gantry robots. This control module is used with a MAC AC servo motor, a servo amplifier, and a positioning device like a ball screw. For integrating these systems, interconnect cables manufactured by Indramat are used. This device is muti functional and user friendly. Users can program the device for specific functions. A 20 digit keyboard is provided through which users have to add values in predefined parameters. Parameters have to be added only once (while the system is being set up), and they don't have to be changed until system requirements or configurations change. For matching the CLM to the machine, a factory-installed executive program is provided. It interprets the parameters and matches the CLM to the machine.
Operator entered commands are translated into motion control signals by the executive program, and feed motion is coordinated with the machinery. The CLM01.3-LB1-01VRS-MS's motion control capability is based on a microprocessor. The device is capable of predicting the motion trajectory of the machinery and pre-empt errors in positioning. Besides highly precise motion control, the device is also capable of running a background PLC program. Users can also generate a two-point acceleration profile through this module. This allows the handling the flow rate of delicate materials and also enables users to establish suitable flow rates for materials on the conveyor.
