The Bosch Rexroth Indramat CLM01.3-LB1-01VRS-MS is an axis positioning control module from the CLM Axis Positioning Control Modules series. Bosch Rexroth Indramat's CLM01.3-LB1-01VRS-MS belongs to the CLM Axis Positioning Control Modules series and is supplied as an Indramat position control unit for coordinating automated motion sequences. Mounted inside a machine cabinet, it supervises multiple servo drives in automated equipment. This allows production lines, presses, and material-handling stations to reach commanded positions with repeatable accuracy and minimal programming overhead.
The controller accepts a supply of 24 V DC (+20%). It integrates four analog input channels that are digitized at 12 bit resolution for speed or force references, and two analog outputs are rendered at 14 bit resolution for fine voltage commands to external regulators. Its encoder port samples at 1 MHz, which supports tight following error limits when fast feedback devices are used. A base configuration covers two axes, and stored motion logic can extend to 3000 blocks, allowing complex positioning routines to run without an external PC. Point-to-point and diagnostic data are transferred through RS-232C, RS-422, or RS-485 serial links, and the two foundational axes can be expanded through auxiliary cards when additional motors are added.
The front panel uses a four-line LCD display that shows 4 × 16 characters, allowing local status review during setup. Its physical size is 330 × 105 × 390 mm, which makes the module suitable for standard 19-inch enclosures, and the housing is rated IP20. Dedicated onboard resources include 16 fixed digital inputs and 16 fixed digital outputs, while the expansion backplane supplies 64 in / 32 out for additional sensor and actuator connections. The controller can scale up to 4 axes, allowing additional machinery to be coordinated under one motion control platform.
