The CLM01.3-A-0-4-B is an Indramat position control module manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat within the CLM Axis Positioning Control Modules series. Designed for industrial automation, it governs multiple servo axes by interpreting encoder signals and executing programmed motion profiles so that tooling, cutters, or material feeders reach commanded locations at the correct time. The unit integrates sequencing, timing, and monitoring tasks that would otherwise be handled by separate PLC logic, providing a compact motion-centric controller for packaging, converting, and general machinery.
This module can supervise up to 4 axes while accepting a control supply of 24 VDC. Positioning precision is supported by a feed resolution of 0.001 in, and timed pauses between moves can be set with a dwell resolution of 0.01 s. The front panel sources up to 50 mA on each programmable output, while the logic section draws only 10 mA from external sensors. Twenty-four predefined inputs and eighteen predefined outputs streamline wiring for limit switches, start commands, and fault relays. One incremental encoder per axis delivers real-time feedback for closed-loop positioning. The housing measures 15.35 in high, 4.13 in wide, and 12.80 in deep, allowing the controller to fit in shallow cabinets. Additional software functions can be added without changing the hardware.
The housing meets IP10 protection, providing basic guarding against accidental contact inside a control enclosure.
