By combining command logic, operator display, and field wiring on a single card, the unit streamlines installation inside industrial cabinets and reduces the number of separate controllers required for positioning tasks.

This controller supplies an amplifier-enable line rated for 50 mA, providing a hardware permission signal for connected drives. A front-panel analog override source of +10 VDC provides a manual reference for tuning or jogging an axis. All enable, override, and brake signals are routed through a Phoenix 8-pin auxiliary drive plug, and the brake coil receives a dedicated 24 VDC release voltage so mechanical locks disengage only under program control. Host communication is handled by an RS-232/422/485 interface that supports local service access, long-distance links, or differential networks without extra hardware. A Phoenix 15-pin command socket carries step, direction, and ready lines to external drives, while the logic section draws its control supply from cabinet power.

The module supervises two motion channels, and each feedback path terminates on a shielded female DB25 connector that matches the housing style used for the adjacent serial port. System-wide inputs and outputs are grouped on headers with 37 pins; the incoming bundle mates to a male DB37 plug and the outgoing bundle to a female counterpart, keeping sensor and actuator wiring separate. Four display lines present position, velocity, or alarm codes during operation. The housing secures to the mounting plate with 1/4 in bolts, which supports firm installation in a control cabinet.
