The CFL function module series for the Bosch Rexroth IndraControl L40 consists of plug-in expansion modules that extend the controller through its dedicated 120-pin PC104Plus interface carrying PCI and system-specific signals.
Up to four CFL modules can be connected, and they are powered directly from the IndraControl L40’s internal supply rather than requiring a separate module power source. The series includes options for memory expansion (SRAM) as well as communication interfaces such as DeviceNet master, PROFIBUS DP master, and SERCOS III. Additional CFL variants support cross-communication over fiber-optic ring connections and provide dedicated high-speed digital I/O and cam-switch style functions for time-critical machine signals. These modules are designed specifically for the IndraControl L40 environment, so selection and use are tied to the L40’s supported system configuration and installation requirements.
