The highly functional control sections of the CDB series combine the features of two digital axes in a unit. They are flexible components of the drive controllers in the Rexroth IndraDrive drive system and can be ordered as separate items. These drive controllers are used in applications like machine tools and robotics.
The CDB01.1C-SE-ENS-ENS-EN1-NNN-S1-S-NN-FW is a double-axis control section designed and manufactured by Bosch Rexroth in the BASIC UNIVERSAL control section range. It is a configurable CDB01 model whose interfaces include two standard encoder evaluation interfaces and a Resolver and HSF encoder evaluation interface. The two standard encoder interfaces are for encoders with a supply voltage of 12V like the MSK motor encoder system, the sin-cos encoder (1 Vpp) with Hiperface, and the 5V-TTL square-wave encoder with reference track. The Resolver supports encoder systems with a supply voltage of DC 8 V or AC 18.2 V peak-peak. SERCOS III is the integrated control communication module on this control section, and it works with LED indicators that show the connection status of the drive controller.
The connection points at the CDB01.1C-SE-ENS-ENS-EN1-NNN-S1-S-NN-FW have spring terminals and screw terminal blocks. It is equipped with a standard control panel with a single-line display for showing important information like the operating state of the device and error codes. It is not suited for a hot plug and must be plugged in or disconnected only when the machine is not running. This control panel is used to operate the control section, but the user-friendly IndraWorks software for PC can also be used.
