The Bosch Rexroth CDB01.1C-S3-EN2-EN2-NNN-MEM-NN-S-NN-FW is a digital control section which can be used with a standard control panel. It includes all the processing circuits for drive controllers from the IndraDrive product line. The CDB01.1C-S3-EN2-EN2-NNN-MEM-NN-S-NN-FW is offered as part of a complete drive controller. The basic unit of the control section has slots for optional modules. The CDB01.1C-S3-EN2-EN2-NNN-MEM-NN-S-NN-FW draws power from the power section which it is plugged into. The power section provides 24 Volts DC for the basic components of the CDB01.1C-S3-EN2-EN2-NNN-MEM-NN-S-NN-FW and for the optional modules. The power draw of the CDB01.1C-S3-EN2-EN2-NNN-MEM-NN-S-NN-FW is 9 Watts. It is a basic universal control section. Two other types of control sections – advanced and basic – are also available. The module architecture allows a lot of flexibility in the choice of optimal modules. Multiple options are also available for master communication.

Master communication interface on the CDB01.1C-S3-EN2-EN2-NNN-MEM-NN-S-NN-FW is SERCOS III which supports 100 Mbps full duplex data rates and is compatible with IEEE 802.3 Ethernet. The CDB01.1C-S3-EN2-EN2-NNN-MEM-NN-S-NN-FW does not feature a safety module. One RS-232 serial interface and several integrated analog and digital I/O are available on the unit. The control section features an encoder emulation module. The unit also features two encoder EnDat 2.1 modules. Drive controllers based on CDB control sections are suitable for applications such as handling systems, mounting systems, machine tools, food machines and printing machines. Drive controllers should be operated only under specified ambient conditions. Detailed installed and safety instructions are provided in the product documentation. Personnel installing or operating the devices should read and understand all relevant instructions. Only suitably trained and qualified technical personnel should handle the drive controllers and their components. This product can be shipped globally with a one year warranty period from Wake Industrial.
