By executing positioning and velocity loops, the card links the mechanical load to higher-level PLCs and completes the automation hierarchy in packaging, printing, and handling cells.

Communication with supervisory systems is provided through a Multi-Ethernet interface, allowing selection among several industrial TCP/IP variants without hardware changes.
