These analog channels can be used for external references, monitoring values, or other auxiliary interface tasks within the drive system. During power-up, the card briefly sinks an inrush current of 6 A with a pulse width limited to 60 ms, which allows standard drive supplies to charge its capacitors without tripping protection devices. Safe Motion is implemented in hardware so monitored stops and limited-speed modes remain active even when the SERCOS ring is reset.
