Product Description:
The CDB01.1C-SE-ENS-ENS-EN2-MEM-L2-S-NN-FW is a modular control unit produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the CDB Control Units series. Mounted inside an IndraDrive cabinet, the board forms the logical core of a drive package by converting high-level motion commands into precise gating signals for the power inverter. It supports multiple encoder formats and supervised I/O so that conveyors, packaging lines, or metalworking axes can maintain deterministic motion profiles under PLC supervision. By handling real-time communication with the plant network and evaluating sensor feedback at microsecond intervals, it enables closed-loop regulation without extra standalone controllers.
Its signal processing section offers an analog monitor channel whose smallest programmable increment is 19.5 mV/inc, allowing fine-grained observation of drive variables during setup. An onboard DC-DC converter supplies 1.1 A to the logic and sensor rails, so proximity switches can be powered directly from the card. Each digital input uses a threshold of 24 V / 3 mA, and the two high-side outputs can deliver up to 500 mA. For deterministic multi-axis coordination, the board links to a SERCOS II fiber ring, while the RS-232 port supports diagnostics at 115 kBaud across cables up to 15 m. A single-line panel display presents status codes, and a changeover relay rated at DC 24 V / 1 A provides fault signaling.
Separate encoder supplies are available. Channel 2 delivers 5 V for incremental encoders, whereas the EnDat tracks receive 12 V for long cable runs. Main position feedback arrives through two IndraDyn/Hiperface connectors, and an auxiliary socket accepts EnDat 2.1, 1 Vpp, or 5 V TTL signals. The safety path implements Safe Torque Off, which disables gate drives when triggered while allowing the relay to remain in the feedback loop. The unit can also emulate absolute SSI or incremental data for legacy drives.
