The state-of-the-art control sections in Bosch Rexroth’s future-proof Rexroth IndraDrive drive system are components of drive controllers used to control electrical motors and monitor their operation. The CDB01 control sections belong in the BASIC UNIVERSAL control section range. They are used in handling and mounting systems, printing and paper processing machines, packaging and food machines, and machine tools.
The CDB01.1C-SE-ENS-ENS-EN2-EN2-NN-S-NN-FW is a Bosch Rexroth control section model in the CDB01 series. It is a Version 1 control section type equipped with the SERCOS communication module with which it interacts with higher-level control systems. This requires the use of fiber optic cables which have to be ordered separately. The control section also features a standard control panel that can be used to set the data rate and transmission power of this module. It has a single-line display where operating states, unresolved faults, and command error diagnoses can be viewed and four keys to navigate its other functions. The control section can be operated with firmware, but this has to be ordered as a different sub-item from the manufacturer.
There are four standard encoder evaluation interfaces on the CDB01.1C-SE-ENS-ENS-EN2-EN2-NN-S-NN-FW. Two of these support the connection of encoder systems with a supply voltage of 12V, while the other two support encoder systems with a 5V supply voltage. As a product of category C3 based on the IEC 61800‑3 requirement, this configurable double-axis control section should be operated in industrial areas. In residential areas, it could lead to the generation of high-frequency radio interference unless measures of radio interference suppression are employed. It can be operated remotely using the IndraWorks software tool for PC by Bosch Rexroth. This product can be shipped globally with a one year warranty period from Wake Industrial.
