Drive and motion control components like servo motors, gearboxes, inverters, converters, and drive controllers are parts of the high-performance Rexroth IndraDrive drive system. The drive controllers are composed of power sections and control sections. The control sections are compact units plugged into the power sections but can be ordered separately. The CDB series is a family of such control sections where the features of two digital axes are combined into one.
The CDB01.1C-SE-ENS-ENS-EN1-NNN-S2-S-NN-FW is a configurable control section in Bosch Rexroth’s CDB01 series. It is a Version 1 model whose control communication module is SERCOS III, the Ethernet-based version of SERCOS II. The communication module is suitable for applications that require high-precision motion control, and its interface corresponds to standard IEE 802.3. Other features of the CDB01 model are its two standard encoder interfaces that support encoder systems with a 12V supply voltage. These include the encoder systems of IndraDyn S MSK motors, the 5V-TTL square-wave encoder with reference track, the sin-cos encoder (1 Vpp) with Hiperface, and the sin-cos encoder (1 Vpp) with reference track.
A standard control panel on the CDB01.1C-SE-ENS-ENS-EN1-NNN-S2-S-NN-FW performs functions like setting the transmission power and transmission rate of the SERCOS module, establishing the position data reference and accessing the error memory.
