Product Description:
The CDB01.1C-SE-ENS-ENS-EN1-NNN-NN-S-NN-FW control card is a modular drive component produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the CDB Control Units series. Installed in IndraDrive platforms, the board governs two independent servo axes and channels feedback, command, and safety data between motion controllers and power sections. In a factory environment, it serves as the logic layer that conditions analog and digital signals, links fieldbus traffic, and supervises encoder supplies for synchronous motors and auxiliary measurement devices.
Its analog channel is designed for sensor conditioning; an input resistance of 160 kohm prevents source loading, while the output stage can source 1 mA or deliver a reference of 5 V for external converters. Motion data from the drives is exchanged over the fieldbus interface, which follows the SERCOS II protocol for deterministic synchronization. Two axis-specific encoder ports accept IndraDyn, Hiperface, or 1 Vpp signals, and an auxiliary connector supports feedback from MHD or MKD motors. The digital I/O area reads 24 V control lines at 3 mA and can switch 24 V loads up to 0.5 A. Time-critical probes are latched with a response accuracy of 1 µs, allowing precise capture of position triggers for camming or product inspection.
The card energizes its primary Hiperface encoder channel with 8 V, while the resolver track is driven by a sinusoidal carrier of 18.2 Vpp. Supply for EnDat or similar multiturn sensors on the secondary axis is regulated at 11.6 V, and the shared supply rail can deliver up to 500 mA to connected transducers without external power packs. A form-C relay is fitted for ready status signals and supports switching at 24 VDC and 1 A. An RS-232 port provides direct serial access to all parameter registers for service diagnostics.
