The CDB01.1C-SE-ENS-ENS-EN1-EN1-S1-S-NN-FW is a control section manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat and supplied as part of the CDB Control Units series. It coordinates drives in automation cells by combining motion processing, fieldbus exchange, and feedback handling inside a compact plug-in card. Sercos II communication is available for deterministic cyclic data, and four encoder slots designated ENS/ENS/EN1/EN1 let the card accept multiple feedback formats without extra interface modules. An integrated Safety Technology I/O channel allows safe stop and related signals to pass through the controller so external safety relays are minimized.
The controller offers one analog input that spans ±10 V, and its high input impedance of 160 kΩ limits loading on external transducers. Two analog outputs are provided, each sourcing up to 5 V / 1 mA, for speed or torque references back to legacy drive components. The card supports a double-axis layout, so two servo channels can be processed at the same time. Parameter access is available through an on-board RS232 maintenance port that accepts standard terminal commands. For sensor power, the ENS tracks receive a regulated 11.6 V supply, and the separate EN1 HSF connector delivers 8 V DC for hybrid feedback devices. One normally open relay contact is included for ready or fault signaling to upstream PLC logic. The control unit can also handle mixed encoder types and local I/O without additional extension cards.
