Internal Product Review
The CDB01.1C-SE-ENS-ENS-EN1-EN1-NN-S-NN-FW is a Bosch Rexroth Indramat CDB control unit featuring SERCOS II master communication and a standard control panel. Support for IndraDyn / HIPERFACE / 1 Vpp / TTL and HSF / RSF encoder formats gives the unit excellent feedback compatibility in multi-axis systems. A low 9 W base power consumption is a strong advantage for efficient control cabinet design.

Product Description:
The CDB01.1C-SE-ENS-ENS-EN1-EN1-NN-S-NN-FW is a modular control card produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the CDB Control Units series. Installed inside a drive controller, this card provides the signal conditioning, axis logic, and communication required for synchronized multi-axis automation. Within a motion system, it interfaces encoders, fieldbus connections, and safety circuits, converting process data into commands that regulate the attached power section. This arrangement lets the drive process command values, feedback signals, and status information in one compact control layer.
It offers an analog reference channel that can source up to 1 mA, which is suitable for low-burden feedback transducers. The corresponding voltage range is limited to 5 V, a level that matches typical industrial speed or torque setpoints while protecting downstream inputs from higher potentials. Internal consumption stays at 9 W, so cabinet thermal load remains small even when all I/O are active. The six switchable digital inputs draw only 3 mA each at a logic high of 24 V, allowing direct wiring to standard PNP sensors without relays. One digital output can sink or source 0.5 A at the same 24 V level to actuate contactors. Encoder sockets accept IndraDyn, HIPERFACE, 1 Vpp, or TTL signals on the first pair and HSF or RSF formats on the second, enabling mixed feedback on an axis.
With a width of 49.5 mm, a depth of 103 mm, and a height of 322.6 mm, the card slides into the drive rack without increasing panel depth. Real-time coordination with other drives is handled through the SERCOS II fiber-optic master port, while point-to-point diagnostics are available through the RS232 service interface. The standard control panel remains on the front of the drive, so parameter access is unchanged when this card is installed. No integrated safety option is included, so emergency-stop functions must be handled by external safety relays. The card’s 24 V digital output shares the same reference as the controller bus, which simplifies common-ground wiring across the installation.
