The CDB control sections exhibit the functionalities of two digital axes in one. They are components of the innovative drive controllers in the Rexroth IndraDrive drive system and are plugged into the power sections. They are designed to be used in machine tools, robotics, and handling and mounting systems.
The CDB01.1C-SE-ENS-EN2-NNN-EN1-S2-S-NN-FW is a compact double-axis control section in the Bosch Rexroth CDB series. This model is a configurable Version 1 type in the BASIC UNIVERSAL control section range. It is equipped with an integrated SERCOS module that uses fiber optic cables for the connection of the drive controller to other control units. The data rate and transmission power of the module can be fixed using the standard control panel of the device or its serial interface. The control panel features a single-line display where the operating state of the device, error diagnoses, and pending warnings are displayed. It also performs functions like setting the drive address, accessing the error memory, and setting the analog outputs.
Encoder systems with supply voltage ratings of 12V can be connected to the CDB01.1C-SE-ENS-EN2-NNN-EN1-S2-S-NN-FW via its standard encoder interface. These encoders include the MSK motor encoder system, the sin-cos encoder (1 Vpp) with Hiperface, and the 5V-TTL square-wave encoder with reference track. The control section also has an interface for encoder systems with ratings of DC 8 V or AC 18.2 V peak-peak. In addition, encoders with a 5V supply voltage can be connected to it via its encoder evaluation interface. The connection points at this control section have spring terminals and screw terminal blocks. Its safety module is Safe Motion with a category 3 PL d/SIL 2 rating.
