Product Description:
The CDB01.1C-SE-ENS-EN2-EN2-EN2-S1-S-NN-FW is a control unit card assembled by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for installation in the CDB Control Units series. Fitted into an IndraDrive power module, it supervises connected servo axes, conditions encoder supplies, and mediates safety signals so coordinated motion can be executed in material handling, printing, and metal-cutting machinery. By combining communication, sensor power, and safety inputs on a single board, the part reduces cabinet wiring and simplifies service access. It also has diagnostic LEDs that reflect bus status and error codes during operation. This arrangement keeps the control, feedback, and safety connections grouped within the same drive platform.
It controls 2 drive axes and communicates with the master PLC over SERCOS II, a deterministic fiber-optic bus that transmits setpoints and diagnostic data every cycle. When the cabinet is energized, the section draws a base inrush of 6 A, and this surge can last for up to 60 ms, figures used when sizing fuses and supply conductors. Three EN2 encoder rails are provided; each rail delivers 5.0 V at 350 mA and remains stable against a 35 ohm load, allowing incremental encoders to operate without external regulators. An additional ENS channel supplies 11.6 V at 500 mA for absolute transducers, and the layout of one ENS port and three EN2 ports lets each axis combine different feedback types without requiring a different board.
For integrated stop functions, the board uses Safety Technology I/O fed from a dedicated rail rated at DC 24 V. The combined output available to peripheral devices is 1.6 A, enabling direct connection of interlock switches, light curtains, or emergency stop buttons. Input monitoring uses a logic channel specified at 24 V / 3 mA, while a separate output channel supplies 24 V at 0.5 A to drive safety relays without exceeding conductor limits. All safety signals pass through a single D-Sub 9 Female connector, which keeps test points accessible during routine verification.
