This control section governs 2 axes and maintains torque and current loops at a cycle time of 125 µs, allowing fine resolution of dynamic profiles. Motion commands arrive over the SERCOS II fiber-optic interface, whose minimum telegram period is 1000 µs, so the device can synchronize with upstream PLCs at millisecond intervals.
