The CDB01.1C-SE-ENS-EN1-NNN-NNN-S2-S-NN-FW is a plug-in control section manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the CDB Control Units series. Mounted on a drive motherboard, it supplies the logic needed to supervise servo axes in packaging lines, handling robots, and other CNC equipment. The board funnels field commands to the power stage, evaluates encoder feedback, and coordinates safety-related stops inside an integrated motion platform.
Two differential analog inputs accept a maximum swing of ±10 V, and their high input impedance of 160 kΩ minimizes loading on external sensors. When a voltage reference is required, the module provides a 5 V, 1 mA analog output that can excite potentiometers or transmit setpoints to adjacent devices. Fast binary control is handled by a digital output rated at 24 V, 0.5 A, while higher-power signaling is available through a relay contact rated for 24 V DC at 1 A. A standard control panel with a single-line display allows basic parameter access and status review. Position data reach the controller through Encoder Interface 1, which supports IndraDyn / HIPERFACE formats alongside 1 Vpp and TTL tracks, while a second port accepts resolver or HSF signals. The En1 HSF port supplies 8 V at 250 mA so external sensors can be powered directly.
Communication with the motion master is carried over the SERCOS bus, and the board exposes the dedicated X20 TX and X21 RX fiber-optic ports for ring or line topologies. Internal logic and attached transducers receive regulated power from the ENS rail, which can deliver 11.6 V, 500 mA, while feedback windings receive excitation through the resolver driver that outputs 18.2 Vpp, 4 kHz at 70 mA. Functional safety is embedded through the Safe Motion option and is certified to SIL2 / Cat. 3 PLd, enabling safe stop, safe limited speed, and other motion-related protective functions without external relays.
