Product Description:
The CDB01.1C-SE-EN2-EN2-ENS-ENS-S1-S-NN-FW is a modular control unit produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the CDB Control Units series. Designed for multi-axis drive systems, the unit hosts local processing, encoder evaluation, and fieldbus communication required in industrial automation. By coordinating power sections through SERCOS, it issues command values and collects feedback so that servo drives hold commanded positions and velocities without external PLC hardware. As a plug-in card, it occupies the controller slot of an IndraDrive amplifier and acts as the central interface between motion logic and machine actuators.
The analog section accepts differential input signals up to ±10 V, allowing proportional setpoint entries such as torque or speed references. For monitoring tasks, it provides an isolated output of 5 VDC / 1 mA that can drive chart recorders or external regulators. Internal logic and the sixteen digital channels are powered from a customer supply between 19 to 30 VDC, so the unit can continue evaluating field sensors even when the power stage is disabled. Two EN2 encoder sockets support EnDat 2.1, 1 Vpp, and 5 V TTL transducers and energize them with 5.0 VDC at up to 350 mA. With sensing conductors, feedback cabling may extend to 75 m without loss of signal integrity, permitting remote motor installations on long gantries.
Two ENS sockets are reserved for IndraDyn or HIPERFACE encoders. They furnish the transducers with 11.6 VDC and can deliver up to 500 mA for resolvers that demand higher excitation power. Safety Technology I/O is implemented through dual-channel terminals that source switching circuits with 24 VDC / 0.5 A, enabling category-compliant emergency stop links without extra relays. Configuration and diagnostics may be performed locally over an RS-232 service port while real-time communication with the master continues on the SERCOS ring.
