Product Description:
The CDB01.1C-SE-EN2-EN2-ENS-EN2-S1-S-NN-FW is a plug-in motion-control card manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat and belongs to the CDB Control Units series. Installed in an IndraDrive modular drive stack, the board links servo feedback devices, command channels, and safety elements to the power section. In automated machinery, it processes setpoint data, monitors axis status, and issues synchronized drive commands. This supports precise torque, speed, and position control in production cells, packaging lines, and handling robots.
The card draws a steady 9 W from the DC link yet must withstand an initial inrush of 6 A when the rack is energized, so cabinet fusing has to cover both figures. All cyclic motion data is exchanged over the SERCOS II fiber ring, giving deterministic timing for multi-axis networks. For bench diagnostics, the analog monitor presents a 5 V / 1 mA signal that can be read by an oscilloscope or PLC analog input. Encoder port EN2 accepts EnDat 2.1, 1 Vpp, or 5 V TTL feedback, and its logic is powered by a dedicated 5 V rail that is isolated from the drive bus. This arrangement keeps feedback electronics separated from the main power section while allowing several common encoder formats on one interface.
A second feedback socket, labeled ENS, supports IndraDyn, HIPERFACE, or 1 Vpp encoders and can source up to 500 mA from its 11.6 V supply for high-resolution sensor heads. The internal probe latch responds within 1 µs, while configurable capture pulses can remain active for up to 60 ms to register cam switches or workpiece marks accurately. Field wiring also includes a relay output rated at 24 VDC / 1 A and an RS-232 maintenance port that works through 15 m of cable and terminates on an 8-pin Mini-DIN plug. The safety I/O block uses a 9-pin D-Sub and sources 24 V / 0.5 A to external safety relays.
